The Unreasonable, Dysfunctional and Unfruitful sit-at-home practice, started by an unlawful order of a faction of IPOB in the South Eastern States of Nigeria since August 2021 seems to be at the verge of its end, at least in Enugu State, going by the legitimate order of its newly elected governor, Barrister Peter Ndubuisi Mba. The order is supposed to take effect today, 5th June, 2023.
Although the governor has deployed security operatives across the state and massive security in sensitive areas of the state, especially in Urban areas, most citizens of Enugu State are not confident enough to go the work or even go to market yet today. This is due to past attacks by the illegal faction, leading to loss of lives and property of citizens.
It is important to note that Governor Peter Mba is not insensitive to the reason why the illegal sit-at-home started, which is demand by IPOB that its leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu be released from Federal Government’s detention, which is believed by many to the Unconstitutional. However, like many REASONABLE CITIZENS have always CRITICIZED the practice to be Economically Hurting The Citizens and Not The Detainers of Nnamdi Kanu, Governor Mba holds similar views and on such basis Wants The Ill Practice To Stop. Governor Peter Mba, like some other influential Igbo people have commenced efforts that would lead to the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from the Federal Government’s detention.
The Mondays sit-at-home practice is like a person constantly hitting and hurting himself/herself, claiming to teach another person a lesson. Extremely Unreasonable It Is. Good Luck to Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mba, from all the Reasonable and True Igbo People, who mean well for Ndi Igbo (Igbo People) and Ani Igbo (Igbo Land), as he tries to stop the sit-at-home evil.
